Deck of Cards Project

A week ago, I purchased a deck of blank playing cards. The backs look just like your standard deck, but the side that normally has the suit, is blank.

I am currently asking friends, family, and others I care about, to each design one of the cards.

The idea is that, when the project is complete, I will have a fully functional deck that also reminds me of people that I care about!!

Putting together the cards to send out

Some I ask to do while we are hanging out, getting coffee, nachos, etc. But since I am currently in Hong Kong, I have mailed them with an envelope that is pre-stamped and addressed to my workplace in Hong Kong. I love snail mail and these envelopes are probably going to be some of my favorite snailmail’s yet!!

So far I’ve mailed and given out about 20! And since I am sitting here by myself in Hong Kong, I am especially looking forward to receiving little pieces of home. I will be posting images of the cards as they come in.
